Black Cat Pottery offers on-site programs including pottery workshops and classes, garden tours and other events. We also offer presentations on numerous garden topics for your group or conference.

All events held at 3903 Grayton St., Detroit, MI 48224 unless otherwise noted in the description.

Pottery workshops are project-focused, meet two or three times (depending on the project), are designed to introduce and refine basic hand-building techniques and are suitable for everyone from the novice to the experienced potter.

Pottery classes provide the opportunity for independent exploration of materials and techniques. Contact us for more information.

Cheryl's off-site events, including public speaking and Black Cat Pottery sales events can be found on the "Where You Can Find Cheryl" page.

Schedule Cheryl for a Speaking Engagement for your group or organization.

Self-guided Garden Tours - free of charge and open to the public - are held twice annually, the first Saturday in June and the third Saturday in August. Private guided garden tours are available by appointment.

We also offer wildflower tours on Belle Isle and at Balduck Park and a Clematis Pruning Workshop on demand.

Our annual Holiday Open House is held the first Saturday of December. Check the "Experiences" page for more information.
