Checkerboard center texture (made using carpet padding, of all things!) is dramatically enhanced when light hits the chocolatey glazed surface, complemented by brilliant light blue petals.
The Arctic Blue glaze is one of the most popular in the studio, with both my students and customers. It breaks light brown over the petals' edges, transitioning to a satiny icey blue with green tones. One of our newer designs in this series - and a new favorite with the artist and her customers!
