Standard sized tiles featuring embossed leaves from near-native Northern Catalpa (Catalpa speciosa) sourced in my Detroit nieghborhood. The leaves are reserved out and colored with Mason stains, which are wiped away to bring up detail. The remainder of the piece is finished with food-safe glaze. Suitable for hanging as-is, framing or as a trivet.
