Applied decoration in the center - using semi-liquid clay and a pastry bag with a ribbon tip (thank you, Martha!) - is dramatically enhanced when light hits the chocolatey glazed surface, complemented by warm iron lustre petals.
The Iron Lustre glaze is one of my favorites because it is exactly all the colors in my kitty Doni's coat and reminds me of his warm nature. Like his ticked fur, it is a combination of tones, including golden yellows, warm browns and black. Warm and subtle - just like Doni!
